Overview
Cindy Peterson is the Beaver County Recorder. Her office can be found on the first floor of the County Administration Building. Jamie Kelsey is the Chief Deputy Recorder. This office has records dating back to 1873; prior records were destroyed in a fire. Here you can:
- Do property searches in our office only (records are not online)
- File mining claims
- Get assistance in finding ownership of a particular property
- Obtain copies of county plat maps
- Obtain information on water rights
- Record deeds
- Obtain copies of your deeds/legal descriptions

The Recorders Office does not accept Recordings after 3:00 pm on the last working day of the month, this is so they can balance their books.
