The county is required under State Statute to administer a noxious weed program. The legislative body of the county, the County Commission, has created a Noxious Weed Control Board consisting of five members. This board is responsible, under the general direction of the county executive, for the formulation and implementation of a county wide coordinated noxious weed control program designed to prevent and control noxious weeds within Beaver County.
Noxious Weed Board
The Weed Board meets quarterly or as needed and is currently under reorganization.
